Product Description

Vata, in its element, is responsible for the smooth locomotory function and nerve conduction. Cheriyarasnadi kashaya is lauded for its therapeutic efficacy in ensuring sustained pain relief. The drug Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata) signifies the vata-hara action of the formula.

‘Soola’ in Ayurveda denotes deep piercing pain in a given body part. The formula can relieve such pain in the arms, thighs, hips, back, lower back and flanks.

‘Kashaya’ or herbal decoctions harness herbs’ healing properties and roots in a mild and easily absorbable water base.

Dosage & Directions for Use

Child: 10-15 ml mixed with 30-45 ml of boiled and cooled water, twice daily on an empty stomach.

Key ingredients

RASNA(Pluchea lanceolata)

Rasna is beneficial in managing arthritis as it reduces inflammation and joint pain due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is also good for kidneys as it reduces oxidative stress due to its antioxidant properties. As per Ayurveda, drinking Rasna kadha (decoction) is useful in arthritis and kidney problems.

ERANDA(Ricinus communis)

All the parts of this herb have medicinal value. Castor seeds and seed oil is used from ancient times to cure disorders like rheumatism, worm infestation, and abdominal disorders. External application of this oil is used to relieve boils, furuncles, and various skin related disorders. Internally, castor oil is taken to relieve constipation. The oil is also applied over the scalp as well as eyebrows for better growth of the hair

BALA(Sida cordifolia)

One of the main ingredients in many of the ayurvedic formulation and mainly used in vataja disorder. Also useful in pregnancy to make milk decoction for easy delivery. The pounded leaves are used to relieve swelling, the fruits are used to relieve headache, the mucilage is used as an emollient, and the root is used to treat rheumatism.

SAHACHARA(Nilgirianthus ciliatus)

Commonly known as strobilanthes. biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticancer, antimicrobial, antidiabetic, and hepatoprotective. The plant is used in gout and dysuria; decoction of leaves for stricture. Roots are given in jaundice, menorrhagia, and rheumatism. The roots of the plant contain a compound called lupeol. This can be extracted from the roots and it has high medicinal value. Other than Rheumatic disorders it can be used for Vata disorders, leprosy, to control blood sugar, urinal problems, excess menstruation, skin inflammations or allergy, toothache, etc. It can be also used for Postnatal care.

DUSPARSHA(Tragia involucrata)

Commonly known as Indian stinging nettle. Its leaves cause itching in touch. Involucrata leaf has been traditionally used to treat inflammation, wounds, eczema, scabies, and skin infections. It has also been found to be effective in treating pain and bronchitis. The involucrata root has been traditionally used for the treatment of high fever.

VASA(Adathoda vasica)

Vasa powder along with honey is considered to be beneficial in cases of respiratory infections such as whooping cough, bronchitis, asthma as it helps promote the secretion of sputum from the air passages due to its expectorant property. Vasa might also help manage the symptoms of arthritis due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces joint pain and swelling associated with arthritis and gout. It also reduces cramps due to its antispasmodic property. Prepare a decoction of vasa leaves by boiling it in water. Add a spoon of honey and it can be taken to prevent respiratory infections.

DEVADARU(Cedrus deodara)

Devadaru is useful in skin disorders, helminthiasis, and ulcers and is a wound cleanser. Also helps in removing flatulence and aids in removing toxins from the gut. Effective painkiller due to its analgesic properties. External application of the paste of Deodar helps to relieve pain, swelling, inflammation, cleansing infected wounds and skin disorders associated with pain and itching. Himalayan Cedar oil is also used in headache, arthritis pain, and infected wounds, externally.

MUSTA(Cyperus rotundus)

Commonly known as common nutsedge. Effective in gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome. Due to its breast purification property, it is used during post partum care to avoid indigestion to the child. The paste is applied over the breast and washed after some time. Musta oil is an effective home remedy for managing stomach disorders due to its antispasmodic and carminative properties.

KOKILAKSHA(Hygrophila auriculata)

Kokilaksha is considered a Rasayanic herb (rejuvenating agent). All parts of this plant are used (leaves, seeds, root) for medicinal purposes and have a slightly bitter taste. Kokilaksha is considered good for men and helps in managing erectile dysfunction by increasing the testosterone levels. It also improves sexual stamina due to its aphrodisiac property. Kokilaksha also helps to manage blood sugar by preventing damage to insulin-producing cells due to its antioxidant property.

NAGARA(Zingiber officinale)

Very much effective drug to reduce flatulence and bloating of the abdomen. It is very much effective in both fresh and dried forms. Dry ginger powder helps in the digestion and elimination of toxins. It acts as an anti-diarrhoeal and anti-dysenteric. It improves bone health, relieving pain and inflammation in joints. Chewing shunti give relief from bloating of the abdomen.

AMRUTHA(Tinospora cordifolia)

The extract is used in fever and in rhinitis conditions. It’s having tonic, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anti-arthritic, anti-lepritic, anti-allergic, and anti-diabetic properties. The powder of Tinospora is given to children by mixing with lukewarm water for nourishment and pregnant women also. The extract is given in fever conditions.

SATAVARI(Aspasragus Recemosus)

The Sanskrit word means a plant with hundred roots. Mainly used for a long time as the hormone balance and a general tonic to uplift female health and libido. Also manages diabetes mellitus, prevents high cholesterol level and helps in the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections, edema, infertility depression, and cancer.
