Dwiruttara churna is a mixture of herbal powder, kshara and salt used in the management of Digestive system related problems.
Indication: Flatulence, Pain abdomen, Loss of appetite, indigestion, diarrhea, hiccup and piles.
Dose : ¼ to ½ teaspoon two or three times a day along with water or buttermilk, before or after food as directed by physician.
Side effects: May induce gastric irritation in higher dose, Used with caution in hypertensive patients as it contain salt.

Method of preparation: The above ingredients are powdered separately and mixed together in specified quantity.
Method of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.

Ayurvedic properties of Dwiruttaram churna:
Roga karma: Shula, anaha, visuchika, arshas, hrudroga, gulma, udawarta.
Dosha karma: Vatakaphahara.
Agni karma: Deepana, pachana.
Other karma: Vatanulomaka, ruchya, lekhana and srotoavarodahara.
