Punarnava Capsule is prepared using standardised extract of punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa). It is also known with its various names i.e. Punarbhu, katilla, Shilatika, varhsabhu, Vruscheera, shothaghani etc. Punarnava is sweet, bitter, and astringent in taste and has a hot potency. It balances kapha and vata dosha. Punarnava capsules are Shophahara, panduhara, kasnaut, raktapradardoshaghana, kshara, Deepani, Ruchya, Udarahar, vranahara, shulanut and Hrudarogajit and is easily available in asia, africa, north america and many other regions of south pacific.
